History
The "Cascina Roggeri", an old farmhouse surrounded by around 760,000 m2 of land, was purchased in the 18th century by the Roggieri family.
Between 1700 and 1850, the Roggieri family was forced to donate part of its land to the local parish church due to financial difficulties, and the farmhouse acquired its current configuration. At the end of the 19th century, the family proceeded with the renovation of the building and converted it into a summer residence to be used as a base for hunting expeditions. The family's heirs maintained the property until the end of the 1990s when it was sold to Gianfranco Furno, whose intention was to renovate and convert the building for use as a hotel.
